School and Library Presentations

As the author of over fifty books and dozens of comic books, my lectures and workshops offer students a rare glimpse into the writing experience from a unique perspective. My talks are geared toward building excitement about the writing process and the history of comic books, while keeping students entertained with a live student comic book reading, a trivia contest, and a PowerPoint slide show filled with exciting artwork from my past projects. Presentations for smaller groups include a drawing workshop where students are given the opportunity to create their own artwork based on a professional comic book script.
